We are happy to announce that EUCCAN is has official joined Enterprise Europe Network Canada (EEN Canada) as a consortium member.

With over 600 partner organizations, the Enterprise Europe Network is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. Within the Enterprise Europe Network, a country outside the EU can be represented by a consortium forming a Business Cooperation Centre.

Together with the German-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research (GCCIR), located in Edmonton, AB, the EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada-West (EUCCCW), located in Vancouver, B.C., we have partnered to form such a Business Cooperation Centre. This Canadian entity is called the Enterprise Europe Network Canada (EEN Canada) and is coordinated by the GCCIR. The EEN Canada works closely with both Canadian and European colleagues to advance opportunities for SMEs by providing business and innovation support services that help to strengthen companies’ competitiveness and sustainability.

“We are very happy to join this great network. Another milestone for our organization in assisting European SMEs to expand in Canada. We look forward to working with the other two consortium members and moreover we are ready to help SMEs make their way into the Canadian market, thanks mostly to CETA.” Delphine Adenot-Owusu, Executive director of EUCCAN

“We are so excited to welcome EUCCAN to the EEN Canada consortium! They will provide a crucial addition, allowing us to offer services not only to SMEs in Eastern Canada, but to European SMEs interested in doing business in Eastern Canada. EUCCAN brings a wealth of expertise and a valuable network to our consortium.” Katelyn Petersen, Executive Director, German-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research
