Screening of the Israeli documentary “Shores of Light”: the untold story of how Holocaust survivors found hope and love in Puglia right after the end of WWII. In 1945 more than 2000 Jewish refugees were relocated in Salento, the southernmost Province of Puglia. For the following two years these young survivors enjoyed the hospitality and support of local communities, they got married and had children, while preparing for their new lives in Israel, North and South America. Following the documentary Dora Ennis, one of the 200 babies of the Salento camps , will join us in conversation.
