New Order of Free Trade in North America
For the first time Canada will host our prime business conference for executives of Austrian subsidiaries in North America, when Austria Connect will come to Toronto in September 2018.
The 11th edition of our annual conference will start with a welcome evening reception on September 20, followed by a one-day conference on September 21 in downtown Toronto. Expect cutting edge insight on relevant issues and of course plenty of opportunity for networking.
The morning session of this conference will be on the new order of free trade in North America, the NAFTA renegotiation, CETA, the prospect of CPTPP, and how the different policies of the USA and Canada towards free trade will affect the North American markets. In the afternoon we will explore the most relevant trends to industry and business, highlight sectors where Canada has technology leadership, such as AI, or additive manufacturing.
On the evening of September 21, we conclude the event with a dinner cruise around the Toronto Harbour and Islands.
The conference language is English and the program is subject to changes. The evening receptions as well as the optional Saturday morning program are open to spouses and partners.
Who should attend?
- US and Canada-based executives of Austrian subsidiaries
- Austria-based executives of companies involved in the operation of North American subsidiaries
- Executives of Austrian companies planning to set up a subsidiary in North America
- US and Canadian representatives of Austrian companies
- Austrians working as executives for top US and Canadian companies
Feel free to forward this invitation to your peers and colleagues within your Austrian network in Canada or the USA. We look forward to welcoming you all in Toronto!
