We are excited to announce that EUCCAN has been granted a new project by the European Union Delegation to Canada to support the coordination of EU chambers within Canada and the implementation of CETA. The main objective is to enable EU companies in Canada to take full advantage of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)

As part of the project, EUCCAN will be given the opportunity to facilitate a national network of EU chambers and business organizations. That way the communication and coordination between the different organizations and regions throughout Canada will be strengthened. As a platform for European business in Canada, EUCCAN strives to become a Canada wide organization and to validate its claim to be The Business Voice of Europe in Canada.

The signing ceremony took place in Toronto on December 5, 2016. The duration of the project is 2.5 years starting in January 2017.
