With new plans for growth in place and exciting years ahead, we are pleased to announce Delphine Adenot-Owusu’s recent appointment to the role of Executive Director. This marks a great milestone with a strong organization becoming an even stronger organisation, creating an increasing number of productive events and disseminating more information to European companies interested in the Canadian market.

Delphine brings a wealth of experience and skills, particularly specializing in the field of managing a growing chamber of commerce. She was previously the Managing Director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ghana, and a board member in the EBO (European Business Organisation) Ghana. She recently participated in the EBO Worldwide meeting in Japan. Her work has been recognized in various networks.

The inaugural Executive Committee meeting to officially welcome the new Executive Director was held last week, and focused on discussions about coming activities. Following the success of previous editions, the Europe Day events across Canada will come back in 2020 in four different cities; Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Halifax. Other events around CETA and EU / Canada relations will be organized. Industry papers and digital outlooks will be published to help European companies to understand the Canadian market and thus take the best commercial decisions to enter the market and, to reinforce the presence of those already existing in the Canadian market.

Delphine is looking forward to connecting with our members and partners.

Sincerely,

Stephen Klus,

EUCCAN President
